“ Familyzowned vintage diner/restaurant serving all day breakfast. Stopped at this place for a quick brunch during a trip from Toronto to Port Burwell provincial park. I've always loved visiting "hole in the wall" spots whenever we are travelling / on a road trip. The establishment is a bit run down and located just off the highway 401, a few minute drive from the town of Woodstock. Though it was old school and vintage looking from the outside and inside, it did feel very homey, with baked goods at the counter and a bunch of older locals / regulars sitted at front. We did get a bunch of stares, when we walked in, being 3 younger minorities looking out of place. Atmosphere: 3 out of 5. We were not greeted right away when we walked in, since there ws only one lady acting as the hostess, cashier and server. Given that it is a smaller establishment and a family-owned busiess. However, once acknowledged, we were told to be seated wherever we would like and the server came by promptly with menus and took our drink orders. We noticed that they have all day-breakfast specials on the wall so we ordered from that menu. Their prices are very reasonable, servings / portions are good, and the food were simple yet cooked well. Food also came out at the same time and fairly quickly. Server also came by enough times to check on us, even offering hp sauce for my steak & eggs order, and extra cutlery that we needed. Food and service: 4 out of 5. ”
“ Very quick and friendly service. As others mentioned, could have better decor but obviously this is not the focus here. The plants help making it look welcoming and are a nice touch. Benny (pictured) was very well served but just ok, very heavy and thick hollandaise. Very good deals on the board inside. Got a platter with 2 eggs, 3 meats and a pancake for $9.99, wow! Totally worth it. ”

“ Where to start…. This place has a distinct charm about it. Bustling morning crowd of regulars, waitresses moving quickly and efficiently popping to and fro, kitchen operating like a bee hive. I was comfortable immediately. Large menu and plenty of specials. I was here for breakfast with my fella, while our truck was being serviced next door. We chose the steak and eggs. Excellent, by the way. Highly recommend it. Waitresses were friendly and attentive without lingering over us, shared a couple laughs. 10 out of 10 will come again. Thank you to everyone at the Oxford Grill. (Forgive the half eaten breakfast pic, we couldn’t wait :) ”
